Make Your Own Patriotic Bean Bags!

 Things You Need

• Two contrasting red, white & blue fabrics
• Sewing kit
• Rice
• Paper

Step 1: Cut Fabric

• Measure and cut fabric into strips measuring 4x8.

Step 2: Fold and Sew

• Fold your fabric in half with the printed side facing in.
• Sew the two sides together, leaving about 2 inches open on one side.

Step 3: Turn it Right-Side Out

• Turn your fabric right-side out. If you are having trouble getting your corners perfect, use a chopstick or a pencil to help push the fabric out. 

Step 4: Fill the Bag

• Using a standard sheet of paper, create a funnel.
• Using funnel, pour or scoop rice into your bean bag. 

Step 5: Sew the Bag Closed

• Tuck the fabric into your bag for an even edge and sew closed. Sew over this area twice to reinforce the fabric.
